I wish I could give no stars! My hubby had finished his meal and 20 mins later, still no food. NEVER received my food! Worst server, and"district mgr" ever! And they have a female plus size mgr "walking around" so inappropriately dressed, it was nauseating!
Service was slow and food wasn't up to El Fenix standards. Many tables were not bussed. We waited about 25 minutes to be seated and there were many tables open.
I was struggling with this review. The server is polite and trying, yet it was an hour and still no meal. My wife's carne asada she didn't care for. My special was fair. , Considering the experience. They should try harder.
Horrible service, food took over 35 min for 2 people. Dust everywhere, food on the floor. Looks like buggars have been wiped on the wall at the booth we were at. Will not be back. Someone should call the health inspector.
D Magazine has given El Fenix so many amazing awards. The food did not live up to the hype. I personally think On The Border is better. Our waitress was really sweet though. The service was good.
